Another rumor that had been floating around for a while is confirmed, Monster Hunter is coming to the 3DS.
Japanese magazine Famitsu are again confirming that Monstr Hunter Tri 3G will be coming to the 3DS, making full use of the second Circle Pad attachment. We haven't seen much of the games yet but we have a few details, The game will be playable at TGS and should be launching late in 2011 in Japan (Meaning a 2012 release elsewhere?) New monsters will also be included along with 12 weapon types, and once the touchscreen is pressed your character will automatically turn around to face towards the monster. The list also says the controls for water sections will be different which also means the underwater areas from Monster Hunter Tri will be returning. Other reports are saying that wireless multiplayer has been confirmed but at the moment we are unsure whether it is local only or if the game will use WIFI connectivity.
