A new colour 'Misty Pink' will be joining the current 3DS line up in Japan.
The other day Nintendo unveiled the Pink DSi XL which left some people baffled considering the focus Nintendo is trying to shift onto the 3DS, and now in a bid to win over female gamers the 3DS will be available in Pink. The console has been confirmed to release on October 20th in Japan and there are no current announcements from other regions. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata explained the console by a comparison with the DS and Wii which shows the 3DS currently has a lower number of female consumers of the 3DS.
In other 3DS colour news, the Red 3DS that is availble in the US and Japan is confirmed to be arriving to the UK on September 30th.
