In an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine director of Super Mario 3D Land Yoshiaki Koizumi spoke about remaking old games and names Super Mario Sunshine as a title he would
like to see remade in 3D.
Yoshiaki Koizumi went into discussing the use of the 3D in Super Mario 3D Land and how it gives gamers a different feel to playing games such as Mario in 3D as it gives a larger perspective on what could have been some very tricky jumps, expressing how he would personally enjoy seeing games such Super Mario Sunshine and the Galaxy games remade in 3D, as well as 'some Zelda titles'
