Not to long ago Iwata spoke about the possibility of 3DS demos and it has now came to light that third party developers will no be allowed to give out these demos for free.
Nintendo have set in place boundaries that mean all third-party developed demos are currently set to cost a minimum of 200 yen (about £1.50) Iwata has spoken in the past about the dangers of lowering the value of software which has most likely became more of an issue for Nintendo with the rise of mobile games. Personally it sounds like a bad move to me and definitely won't help Nintendo with their 'third-party support' issues. Reggie has previously said to expect free demos in the future, but will that be just for first party titles?
