Nintendo announces Zelda themed Flipnote competition


Create your own Zelda themed animation in Flipnote Studio on the DSi and have it judged by the series top developers with the opportunity to have it published on Nintendo's website.

As another addition to the 25th anniversary celebrations for the Zelda franchise Nintendo today announced that it will be holding a Flipnote studio competition in the veins of the one held for the Mario series last year. The best of the animations will be hand selected by the top developers of the games including Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, Eiji Aonuma and Yoshiaki Koizumi, and then be hosted on Nintendo's website as well as Flipnote Hatena, and the Nintendo Channel. Shigeru Miyamoto did mention a while back that a version of Flipnote would be released on the 3DS but it is yet to be released or mentioned since so to participate you wiil need either a DSi or DSi XL with internet access.
