Reggie Fils-Aime has just announced that the Flame Red 3DS is coming to America on September 9th.
The Flame Red 3DS had been in Japan since July 14th and nobody expected it to leave in the near future, but Reggie says different. The red 3DS will launch along side, but not bundled with, Star Fox 64 3D at the lowered price since it is after the drop that takes place this Friday, but has already taken affect in some stores such as Walmart. Currently a release for the console hasn't been confirmed by other branches of Nintendo but it wouldn't make much sense if it wasn't releasing worldwide.
